The company underwent rigorous third-party inspections that tested the validity of its security controls and operating efficiency. Criteria such as availability, confidentiality, privacy, and processing integrity were considered. The audit process evaluated dozens of controls, including employee onboarding, password protection, training, and multifactor authentication, which required inputs from the Development, IT Security, Quality Assurance, and HR departments. 

After several months of investments into additional security processes and infrastructure needed for the compliance, Gridlogics received the SOC 2 Type 2 certification with zero exceptions, signifying that the company’s systems and processes have been tested and audited to meet the highest security standards. As data security and privacy become increasingly crucial, this achievement highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to protecting its customers’ valuable and confidential assets from the risk of data breaches, loss, or cyber-attacks.
