So here is a summary of key enhancements to PatSeer Database that went live in Q4/2013:

• Class Definitions Search – Search through the Class definitions of IPC, UC and CPC with the same powerful PatSeer search syntax.
• Key Concepts Cloud- Quickly view key concepts that occur in the full-text of a record before you actually read it!
• Browse matching Terms – Lookup all matching variations of your search term. (SLART term lookups supported)
• Chemical Lookup – See synonyms, registry codes and other equivalent names of a compound or drug so as to make more comprehensive search queries.
• Search & Compare Projects – Search across and combine multiple projects with OR/NOT/AND queries
• Number Import Wizard – Import Numbers in PatSeer from any other database with ease. The wizard takes care of complex number conversions so that most numbers given get matched
• Instant Classification Lookup – One-click lookup for US/IPC Patent Classes related to your search right from your search form
• Record Monitoring Alerts – Monitor record and receive an alert if changes occur in its family, forward cites, legal status, Reassignments, Maintenance and more.
• PatSeer API – A whole new PatSeer API service launched for companies and service providers looking to build custom in-house applications such as Tech Monitors, Knowledge Management Solutions etc
